Press Release: Emirates becomes launch customer of the GAM VVIP Terminal

General Aviation (Mauritius) Ltd announces Emirates as launch customer for new VVIP terminal at SSR, International Airport, Mauritius

 

General Aviation (Mauritius) Ltd. and Emirates Airlines have signed an agreement for the rental of office space at the GAM VVIP terminal being built at SSR International Airport, Mauritius. Emirates has agreed to use the new facilities being built for their Engineering department in order to enhance the service levels for their aircrafts arriving in and departing from Mauritius.

“We are absolutely delighted that Emirates have agreed to use the new facilities and effectively become our launch customer in this new project” said Nirvan Veerasamy, Executive Director of General Aviation (Mauritius) Ltd. Our new VVIP terminal being built will set new standards in all aspects of aviation services whilst adding an unparalleled development at the airport”.


Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates’ Manager – Indian Ocean Islands stated: “We are pleased to be the first customer of GAM and congratulate them for their great initiative. As far as we are concerned, the new terminal will allow us to ensure that our Engineering department functions at the best of its abilities, hence providing the highest level of service to our aircrafts”.
